The EUROPRIX Multimedia Awards, the European leading contest for young creative multimedia designers and producers, are open for entries on the 5th of April. Creative media talents can participate until 1st of July, the awards will be presented in November in the UNESCO City of Design Graz, Austria.

The EUROPRIX Multimedia Awards address young, creative multimedia developers under 30 years, who work in the field of media design and e-Content. Focusing on innovation, creativity and originality, the EUROPRIX Multimedia Awards differ from the other contest. The main idea is to encourage the best young talents from all around Europe and establish a Europe-wide platform for promoting the best multimedia projects. In addition to the renowned awards the EUROPRIX offers an international network of students, producers and lecturers. The EUROPRIX Multimedia Awards are organized for the 14th time and invite students and young professionals from 40 countries.

Boost your career!
The 30 finalist teams (2 people per team) will receive an invitation to the EUROPRIX Multimedia Festival in the UNESCO City of Design, Graz. The costs for travel and accommodation (in a double room) for two team members will be covered by a grant. The finalists will have the possibility to see, amongst others, a public presentation of their projects at the Festival, the exhibition of their projects with the video and the presentation at the Gala, the presentation of the projects in the EUROPRIX publications online and offline.
The EUROPRIX is considered an utterly important stepping stone among young multimedia designers and developers who have found the successful road to their professional independence with the award or have reached the potential employers through the acquired publicity.

The ICNM is a non-profit organization with the focus on selection and promotion of the top-quality interactive media contents. The EUROPRIX and the Festival are supported by the Federal Ministry of the Economy, Family and Youth of the Republic of Austria, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research, the City of Graz, the Styrian Chamber of Commerce and the Creative Industries Styria.

> TAMK School of Art and Media 4th International Week April 11-15 2011 / Tampere, Finland
The fourth edition of Tampere Art Factory Festival will blossom out mid-April at the old Finlayson cotton mill in the heart of Tampere, Finland. TAF is above all a demonstration of the skills and talent of the graduates and students of the School of Art and Media at TAMK University of Applied Sciences, and their friends.
The International Week April 11-15 preceeding TAF will host 50 international participants from 20 institutions and 15 countries. The guests will arrange workshops, seminars and discussions; the results will be a part of TAF opening weekend programme April 15-16.
EUROPRIX has always been present at TAF International Week, the kick off of the Finnish campaign for EUROPRIX Multimedia Awards will happen at TAF. Many participants will meet each other again at EUROPRIX Multimedia Festival November 10-12.

The Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (MOME), together with two other art schools is organizing transform@lab, a special Summer school for postgraduate students.
This 17 day intensive lab will take place over 6 months at training locations in Wales (UK), Denmark and Hungary and will involve 11 masterclasses and case studies and 12 project development labs with leading new media practitioners from the host countries.
The nine participants selected will also benefit from 4 studio visits, 4 networking events with industry practitioners and e-support through online modules before they pitch their projects to a high profile industry panel.
