Europe’s Multimedia Top Talents enthuse during the EUROPRIX Top Talent Award Gala Night in Vienna. The EUROPRIX Top Talent Award Gala Night took place in the Technical Museum in Vienna as an enthralling multimedia show with more than 350 invited international guests from more than 20 countries.
Co-Moderator of the evening was the CEO from the mobilkom austria – Austria’s market leading mobile communication provider - Boris Nemsic and he was impressed by the projects, the teams and the location.
The Top Talent Award Gala brought particularly international guests to Vienna. The president of the Preparatory Committee for the World Summit on the Information Society and former education minister of Mali Adama Samassékou, was impressed by the creativity of those young Europeans. One of his main statement after reviewing all Top Talent projects was: Young people are not only the creative potential of our future, but also the social potential and therefore, I would like to invite all of you, not only to demonstrate your ability in multimedia but also in politics‘ ....’It is amazing what young people achieve! Vienna and Europe can be proud of this event because it is a platform not only to exchange knowledge but also to deepen the understanding among different cultures and points of view...’
And the winner is: the French project "nonviolence21.com", Overall winner & winner in the category ONLINE
Two people of the team members are looking for jobs, two work freelance. They come from Paris, Grenoble and somewhere in-between and did the ‘non violence project’ for their graduation in multimedia design at “Gobelins, l’école de l’image” in Paris. ‘Non-violence is a social power’, says the 22 year old French project leader Camille Sautel and we want to demonstrate that everyone can benefit from learning intelligent non-violent behaviour in order to resolve conflicts in daily life without using violence’.
Camille Sautel and her three team colleagues are awarded to be the best young talented multimedia producers in Europe. They received the EUROPRIX Top Talent Award for their project ‘nonviolence21.com’ from the Austrian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Labour. They left Vienna with Euro 4000, a brand new designer PowerBook G4 from Apple and courage that creative and intelligent productions in e-contents are appreciated.
